The newest set of Brushless motors to be introduced is the MEGA ACn16/15 size which are direct replacements for Speed 400 and Speed 480 brushed motors and ACn16/7 Speed 400 Short motors. Armatures are hardened steel with Kevlar wrapped magnets placed on two ball bearings. Model numbers are based on rotor diameter, length, and number of turns on the armature: 22/10/5 = 22 mm diameter / 10 mm rotor length / 5 turns. E Indicates Energy Star or less aggressive current stingy wind. H Indicates Helicopter use. Any Sensorless Brushless Electronic Speed Control (ESC) can be used with the ACn16/XX Series motors.
